Even through thunder (but the kids are not bathing through the storms of course) we stay at the beach looking at the show!
The other day we had a short break cause the kids found a dead bird. They named it, wrote a poem about it and had a calm funeral for it. They sang and my big boy held a little speach. It was very nice of them and a natural way to discuss death.
My firstborn has also got her first job this summer, selling strawberries at our local shop. She is happy about the extra income! And I think that it is great that she learns about money in time...
